Parkschule Essingen

The Park School Essingen is connected all around and unmistakably with the Swabian Alb, as it is located at the foot of the Albtrauf and in the alluvial fan of the river Rems.

The wonderful landscape of the Swabian Alb Geopark is part of the school's curriculum. For example, the karst spring "Rems-Quelle" is already explored in the first grade as part of the science lessons and there are excursions to Geopark info centres such as the Prehistoric Museum Aalen and the Tiefer Stollen visitor mine in Wasseralfingen.
